Fourth Edition

The 2025 Sirikwa Classic, held on February 22, maintained its World Athletics Gold status and expanded its profile with sponsorship support (like from Absa Bank) and a deep international field.

In the senior women’s race, Agnes Jebet Ngetich won the title, with Olympic and world champion Faith Kipyegon dropping out late in the race.

The race continued to showcase Kenyan distance talent, draw runners from across the globe, and act as a preparatory platform ahead of major championships.
